Campbell River is a coastal city on the east side of Vancouver Island, known for its fishing heritage, ocean and mountain scenery, wildlife viewing, waterfalls, forests, and access to nearby islands and wilderness areas. It is an excellent base for exploring Strathcona Provincial Park and Discovery Passage, and is a gateway to the northern region of Vancouver Island.
